Monthly Meetings
The league's monthly meeting was held tonight (Monday 8th June) with only 6 out of 14 teams in attendance.
These meetings are for YOU to air any issues you have with the league, rules, matches, etc and have an open discussion to resolve them.
I (Gareth) will accept no complaints from teams who do not actively participate in the running of the league. I do not put work into sorting out leagues, competitions, finals nights, trophies and the like only to find not one person from each side cannot be arsed to turn up for a 45 / 60 minute discussion once a month.
Each team not in attendance tonight will be fined £10 and the payment deadline will be enforced to the letter - if the fines are not paid by the due date they will be doubled. If teams consistently fail to pay fines on time I will bring the matter to a meeting and call for points deductions or expulsion.
Simon and myself have taken a more relaxed attitude this year and I believe it has helped but if people are going to throw this back in our faces with nothing more than a fuck you I will tender my resignation from the committee ASAP. I'm here to help run a pool league not a daycare centre.
